SHIPPING:

Rates -
Shipping is NOT a profit center for Misfit Psycles or the Psycle Store. We do our best to use the most current rates and service options offered. Limitations in shopping cart software require the use of chart based shipping calculations...accurate in the majority of instances. If you feel that the rate calculated for your order is unreasonable please contact us with your order and it will be reviewed.

Service -
All orders will be shipped via Canada Post Parcel (USPS) AIRMAIL (North America ONLY) unless otherwise stated.
Some AIRMAIL orders MAY be shipped by UPS at the discretion of MISFIT PSYCLES. This decision will be based on the best service available for the value of the shipping charge calculated.
UPS shipments are available, orders selecting "FLAT RATE" will be shipped by UPS. As the rate is FIXED the level of service will be based on the size, weight and value of the shipment. In the event that the service selected for you order is LESS then the FLAT RATE a credit will be issued. This information can be confirmed on request.

Exceptions -
WHEELS, FRAMES and BUILD KITS must ship by UPS.
Customers MUST select the UPS option on check-out.

International -
International orders are welcome, however, shipping rates published MAY NOT APPLY. All attempts will be made to stay within the published lists BUT we will NOT under any circumstances ship with SURFACE mail internationally. Never. Ever.
You will be contacted after order placement with the ACTUAL shipping charge. If you would like confirmation PRIOR to ordering please contact us directly with details of the order.

Canada Post Delivery Times -
North American shipments generally take 7 to 12 BUSINESS days.
Note: Business days do NOT include weekends or holidays.

International orders take 14 to 21 business days and MAY require ADDITIONAL shipping charges as all rates are quoted for North America shipments ONLY.

Note: These times are estimates provided by Canada Post and USPS.
Tracking numbers are NOT given on orders that ship by AIRMAIL.
Misfit Psycles and Psycle Store make every attempt to ship within 24 business hours of order placement. In the event that the order is delayed you will be notified by email.

As a service to the majority of our customers freight rates for our products are as LOW as possible.
If you would like to request a specific service, a faster service, a tracking number or because you are just generally impatient email us for a quote.

ORDER STATUS:

RECIEVED
Order status is Recieved once the check out process is completed.
PROCESSING
Order status will be changed to Processing once payment has been confirmed and a pick list has been issued. A credit card authorization number and planned ship date will be provided with this status change.
SHIPPED
Order status will be changed to Shipped once the items have been delivered to the post office or picked up by courier. A tracking number will be provided if or when available.

DUTIES/TAXES/GARBAGE:

Unless otherwise stated ALL orders ship from Misfit Psycles in Bolton Ontario CANADA.

In some cases you may be charged duty or taxes - THIS ARE NOT SHIPPING CHARGES, THESE CHARGES ARE ESTABLISHED AND LEVIED BY THE IMPORTERS COUNTRY.
Please do not ask Misfit Psycles or the Psycle Store to cover these charges. If you disagree with these charges we encourage you to contact your elected official and bust their chops some...they like it.
Brokerage. A fancy word for pushing paper. Generally speaking orders shipped by AIRMAIL pay NO Brokerage - that is because Canada Post and the USPS acknowledge the majority of the effort was completed by the shipping party (Misfit Psycles and Psycle Store). Orders shipped by UPS (in excess of $200) MAY require brokerage - the amount of the charge is based on the declared value of the shipment and the type of service selected.
Visit the UPS website if you would like more information. We encourage each of you to complain about the outrageous rates...alas, they no longer listen to us.

Example: 1 Frame shipped by UPS Standard - Value $350. Taxes $7, brokerage $23

RETURNS:

WTF? Measure twice order once, return NEVER.
Fine things happen, a return may be necessary. Misfit Psycles and the Psycle Store are massive operations, your unauthorized return will get lost in our red-tape...so an approval must be obtained prior to returning any products to us...it just makes sense.
Orders returned without authorization will be rejected.
Orders returned COLLECT will be rejected.
Orders returned by UPS, FEDEX, DHL or any courier that does not cover duty/brokerage, will be rejected.
Orders returned with ANY amounts due will have this amount deducted from any eventual credit.
Final credits (unless otherwise agreed) will be issued LESS the original shipping charge and any import charges that may result.
As a rule Misfit Psycles and Psycle Store DO NOT charge re-stocking...the shelves just are not THAT far away.
